- <H3> The New York City High School Admissions Study is made up of a group of researchers at New York University, Columbia University, and Seton Hall University. The study is developing new tools to help 8th grade students in NYC find their high school match, and conducting research on the effectiveness of these tools. In 2015-16, the research team delivered informational interventions in 170 NYC middle schools to assist low-income students with the high school choice process. Together, these interventions reached more than 20,000 New York City middle school students. The study is continuing in 2016-17 in 420 schools.
